This is my first week playing along with My Creative Space. I have enjoyed checking out everyone else and have decided to stop lurking and play along.
This week my space is all about knitting and vintage buttons. Not in the one project, I am knitting my first washcloth and the vintage buttons are going on everything else, I think I am obsessed. Liesa has suggested I start a new blog just about buttons, I am not sure if that would help my obsession or just fuel it. What do you think? I could have a button a day and share all my vintage buttony crafts and finds there.

ooh, that sounds like a good idea! a button a day, you would get a heap of followers for that!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a button blog. As an avid button collector that cannot sew, I am constantly searching for ways to justify my obsession. (P.S. Have you ever checked out http://buttonfloozies.blogspot.com/ ? They have guest posts or some sort of a contributor thing going on there that you might really like.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking a button blog sounds awesome - maybe you could make it a group blog where lots of people can post about their button obsession :) (like drinking wine... it's better if you're not alone)

There is a button blog by Susan who I think has written a button craft book: http://buttonitupbook.wordpress.com/ But like buttons, one is never enough. Welcome to the Creative Space with your lovely picture. I think I might want to knit some of those dishclothes.
